Presenters

STUDENT EXPERIENCE Students attending the Women in Science event participate in presentations led by local women professionals working in STEM fields. They learn about the education and training required for various career paths, along with typical job activities, workplace expectations, and salary ranges. Throughout the day, students also see and experience technology and equipment used across many STEM careers.

PRESENTERS Presenters include pharmacists, veterinarians, wildlife biologists, dental hygienists, engineers, physical therapists, optometrists, GIS analysts, IT security professionals, interior designers, architects, meteorologists, morticians, crime lab scientists, and many others.

WHY IT MATTERS Presenters have the opportunity to inspire young women, share their passion for their field, and demonstrate what they do each day—sparking excitement in students as they explore future STEM careers.
